The office building located in the front receives light both from the patio, that connects to the warehouse, and by the façade towards the highway by means of a double glass composed of conventional carpentry and a reflective glass screen that constitute a solar protection, a sonic barrier and a medium for the Honda logo.
For the warehouse, a metallic structure was chosen for its versatility and fast assembly with lights in between pillars of 20 and 14 meters. The structure is mainly done with a mesh of Boyd beams with “V” top profiles over which the roof is laminated and defined.
The conception of the roof lining and shape is based in both functional-economic and landscaping reasons, proposing a curve that follows and integrates the surrounding hills.
The rooftop covering material is a sandwiched panel with an industrial aluminum finish. The same panels are used as exterior wall furnishings, but in this case the support for the intermediate insulation material is a panel of prefabricated concrete that in itself is a fireproof barrier.
